Chief Oyewole Olaoye is a journalist, public relations practitioner and corporate executive. A product of the universities of Ife and Lagos, he has worked as an editor in the DRUM magazine Group, Lagos, director in the Academy Press Group, Ilupeju-Lagos, and the founding Chairman of Diametrics Limited headquartered in Abuja. Between 2006 and 2010, he served as a Member of the Governing Council of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He is a Fellow of the African Public Relations Association (APRA) and a columnist with Leadership newspapers, Abuja. In 1982, he was awarded the Life Membership of the Obafemi Awolowo University Students’ Union and in 2010, the university’s Alumni Association of which he was president decorated him with its highest award, the Grand Commander of Great Ife. He is happily married to Anne Ndidiamaka (Nee Modebe) and they are blessed with three children. He holds the chieftaincy title of Aare Agbaakin of Oke-Ila Orangun.
